'Spirit' - Ranjith, Mohanlal and Prakash Raj

The three big names in the film industry is coming up together for the new movie 'Spirit', directed and scripted by Ranjith with Mohanlal in the lead and Prakash Raj as villain.

Mohanlal and Ranjith team's last film was Rock N Roll, and that was not a big deal for the team. But this time Ranjith is coming with a different story line titled 'Spirit'. Hope this will make another magic and will please all the viewers.

Mohanlal with Siddique

Yes, he is moving on the right track with right pace. It seems Mohanlal is going to be very selective in his upcoming projects. After a couple of multistarrer hits, he joined with Blessy, a veteran director who already have a great image in the film industry. Now Mohanlal is planning to join with another hit maker Siddique. The movie will start by the end of this year and will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of AAshirwad Cinemas.

Director Siddique is now busy with is Hindi film 'Bodyguard' with Salman Khan. will start the pre-production work after the release of his Hindi film. The team's last film was 'Vietnam Colony' which was a block buster. Lets hope another gigantic hot from the team and all the best for the project...

Mohanlal with Ranjith Again

The cold war between Mohanlal and Renjith is going to end. The latest news is that Renjith and Mohanlal will shortly join for a new project. As per the details, Renjith will be using the short story 'Leela ' by R Unni, for his new movie with Mohanlal. The story which tells about the abnormal sexual fantasies of a man is expected to be a role that will be a landmark role in the career of Mohanlal .

'Kamal Haasan' and 'Mohanlal' again together

This is the big news for all the Mohanlal fans. Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan are joining together for another flick and the director and script writer of the movie is none other than Kamal Haasan itself. Don't stop more shocking and interesting news is still there. If the sources are right, Tamil actor Surya and Telugu actor Ravi Teja will also be in this film.

The big budget movie will also feature Deepika Padukone, Trisha, and Genelia D'Souza in important roles.

Kamal - Lal team's last film "Unnailpol Oruvan" was a great hit in Box Office. So we can hope another biggie from the team.

Samuthirakani to direct Mohanlal

He is getting more and more complements for his cameo of a Naxalite leader Abdulla in Mohanlal's Ramzan movie 'Shikaar', Samuthirakani, the actor - director is now planning to direct a Malayalam movie with Mohanlal as protagonist. Mohanlal already gave positive sign to Samuthirakani, will start to work on the script of the movie soon.

Mohanlal in another double role

Mohanlal is all set to play another double role in his new movie "Talkies" directed by Shajoon Kariyal. After Uncle Bun, Udayon and Ravanaprabhu, in this film also he is playing the role of father and son.

The movie feature Mohanlal as a struggling theater owner. Mohanlal will appear as Raveendran Nair and also as his father, who actually constructed this talkie. S Suresh Babu will script this movie which will start its shoot by the end of next month.

'Casanova 'to start by June

Its a good news for all Mohanlal fans that the Roshan Andrews film 'Casanova' which had been in news from 2008, is planned to start its shooting by the month of June.

The movie was in a big dilemma when the budget problem and other technical and casting issues came at the beginning stage. But now its clear that the team now decided to do the project and the movie will now be produced jointly by Impresario and Confident group.

This will be the biggest film from Mohanlal with many heroines including Lakshmi Rai, Sameera Reddy etc. Tamil actor Ganesh doing the second hero role in this film. The movie is scripted by Bobby-Sanjay team. 

Mohanlal - Sreenivasan Again!!!

The most successful duo Mohanlal and Sreenivasan are coming together in an upcoming movie "Oru Naal Varum", produced by Manian Pillai Raju. The movie will direct by Rajeev Kumar.

Whenever the duo came together on screen they have made super hits like Gandhi Nagar 2nd Street, Sanmanasuullavarku Samadhanam, Varavelpu, Nadodi Kattu, Pattana Pravesham, Vellanakulde Nadu, Thenmavin Kombathu, Chandralekha, Kilichundan Mambazham, Udayananu Tharam etc..

"Janakan" for 2010 January

Mohanlal - Suresh Gopi teams "Janakan" will reach theaters on 2010 January month. This will be Mohanlal's first release in the year 2010. The movie, directed by N R Sanjeev, debutant, was earlier planned to grace the theaters on this November.

"Christian Brothers" - Pooja held at Kochi

Yesterday the pooja of the multistarrer malayalam film "Christian Brothers" was held at Kochi. Mohanlal is in the lead role of the film with "Suresh Gopi" and "Dileep". The other attraction of the film is the comeback of "Kavya Madhavan", she is the heroine of Mohanlal.

Veteran director "Joshiy" will direct the film with the script of Udaya Krishna - Sibi K Thomas. The movie to be produced by AV Anoop and Subair. Tamil actor Arjun also playing an important role in the film .The movie will be completed in a single schedule of fifty days starting the 15th of  November. The movie is now slated as one of the big release for the summer of 2010."

Angel John Landing on Oct-8th

The new Mohnalal -  Shanthanu teams movie "Angel Jonh" is planning to reach the theaters on October 8th. The movie was earlier planned to get released on 2nd of October, but due to some problem the releasing date was postponed. Now things are ready to launch the movie.

The songs are already became hit. The hit songs are done by music director Ouseapachan and sung by Hariharan and Franco. Now its time to watch the movie. Wait till october 8th. We can expect a good entertainer from the young director Jayasuriya and our Lalettan...

Mohanlal as Devdutt Narasimhan

Mohanlal is playing the role of a brilliant criminal lawyer in the upcoming Malayalam movie "Janakan". Suresh Gopi and Jyothirmayi plays the lead role in the movie and Mohanlal appears in 20 minutes climax scene. The movie is directed by N R Sanjeev, and has its script by the much acclaimed S N Swamy.

The Mohanlal - Suresh Gopi team's new movie is titled as "Janakan". The movie is directed by debutant director N R Sanjeev and scripted by S N Swamy. The movie is on its sets at Trivandrum and Mohanlal will join the team on 10th of this month.

“Mahendrajaalam” – Mohanlal’s New Project

The “Pakal Nakshatrangal” team is again coming together with their new project “Mahendrajaalam” will feature Mohanlal in lead. But this time the team is planning for a commercial film instead of art.  This film is planned to launch on next year. 

Rajeev Nath will direct the movie and the script work will be done by Anoop Menon. This will be the first commercial movie from Rajeevnath. The film will also cast Reema Kallingal(“Ritu” fame), Raj Tushy.

Angel John on October 18th

The upcoming Mohanlal movie "Angel John" is planning to release on 18th of October of this month.

The movie is directed by Jayasurya (Speed Track fame), cinematographed by Ajayan Vincent, ‘Bhramaram’fame.The movie also cast of this movie are Lalu Alex, Vijayaraghavan, Ambika, Baiju, Bijukuttan, Jagathy and Sona Nair. Mamtha and Nithya Menon plays the herione roles. The movie also feature Santhanu son of Poornima and Bhagyaraj famous Tamil actor and director.

"Alexander the Great" - Reports

The Mohanlal movie has almost completed its shoot at Dubai. The team planned to shoot the rest of the part also at Dubai.

The movie "Alexander the Great" is directed by Murali Nagavalli under the banner "Anugraha Cine Arts" by VBK Menon. The movie is scripted by C Balachandran. The movie also features Meenaksi Dixit, Bala, Siddhique, Saikumar, Jagadheesh, Gnesh, Nedumudi Venu.

"Angel John" - Shooting from July Onwards

The movie "Angel John" directed by Jayasurya ("Speed Track" fame) will start the shooting by July first. But Mohanlal will join the team only on July 5th.

The movie also casts Santhanu (son of great Tamil acot-director Bhagyaraj), Jagathy, Suraj and Bhama.

The makers are planning to shoo the film at Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam locations.

Bhramaram Censored

Mohanlal and Blessy Team's eagerly awaited project "Bhramaram" has been censored on 23rd June by Trivandrum Regional Censor Board. The film has been passed with a clean "U" certificate.

But his last two projects "Thanmatra" and Culcutta News" got U/A certificate. But after censoring "Bhramaram" the censor board members said that it is a "clean well made road movie".

The movie is ready for releasing on 25th June. The film directed by Blessy also casts Bhoomika and Lakshmi Gopalswami.

Alexander - The Great

The shooting of new Mohanlal movie "Alexander - The Great" shifted to Mumbai. The movie is directed by Murali Nagavally and produced by VBK Menon. The movie is scripted is by Balachandran.

"Alexander - The Great" is a family thriller movie, and Mohanlal plays the role of Alexander Varma, who have an extraordinary IQ. Movie also features Bala, Jagatheesh, Innocent, Salimkumar in important roles.

"Casanova" shooting called off

Due to financial problem the big budget Mohanlal movie "Casanova" temporarily stopped the shooting. The movie was planned to shoot in Vienna. Mohanlal already gave his 80 days for this film and also other stars like "Arya" and "Priyanka" gave the date for this film by cancelling good projects from the South. The movie is scripted by Boby and Sanjay and was planing to direct by Roshan Andrews.

Anyway Roshan Andrews is planning to move with his another Mohnalal project which is scripted by James Albert. This was expected to reach theater in the month of July. Hope this movie wont have financial problem as this is produced by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of Ashirvad Films.
