Casanova final schedule at Bangok

The final schedule of the Mohanlal starrer 'Casanovva' started at Bangkok. Casanova, the biggest movie in Mollywood in terms of production, is a romantic thriller directed by Roshan Andrews and scripted by the successful duo Boby-Sanjay.

The movie changed its name from 'Casanova' to 'Casanovva', a small change in spelling due to numerological reason. The movie will cast leading actresses Shreya, Lashmi Rai, Roma, Sanjana and Dimple Rose. The movie will be a Christmas treat for the fans. Now its planned to get released on 16th of December.

Mohanlal with Director Revathy

Revathy S Varma, who directed the Tamil film June R, with Jyothika in the leadm is now planning to debut in Malayalam film industry with a Mohanlal flick titled 'Mad Dad'. The story will be the relationship with Dad and her daughter.

Shwetha Menon, Archana Kavi, Salim Kumar and Harisree Ashokan are also starring in the movie. Its heard that a young Mollywood hero also playing an important role in this film. But the name is not yet confirmed.

Currently Mohanlal is very busy and is working on multiple projects at a time. He is currently working on Priyadarshan’s  'Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum' and Sathyan's movie 'Snehaveedu'

Mohanlal and Revathy Again

After 28 years from their first movie "Kattathe kilikkoodu" Mohanlal and Revathy coming up together for the movie "Sneham + Ishtam = Amma" directed by late Bharathan's associate Jayachandran Ayilara. In this movie Mohanlal will play the role of a Gazal singer named Raziq Udhay Bhai and Revathy will handle the role of a writer named Sreedevi. 

Who will forget the duo Mohanlal and Revathy's super hit movies like Varavelpu, Kilukkan, Devasuram. Hope this movie also will make a big hit in Mollywood...

"Pranayam" starts

On Feb 14th, Valentines Day, director Blessy has started his new and first love story movie 'Pranayam' at Cochi. The movie features Mohanlal, Anupam Kher and Jayapradha in the lead roles. The movie is progressing its shooting and Mohanlal will join the team after completing Rafi - Mecartin's China Town.

The year 2010 was not a good year for both Mohanlal and his fans. May be that is why he is very keen on his 2011 projects. In my previous posts I have mentioned about Lal's projects with Sathyan Anthikkad and Priyadarshan. Now its another biggie, that class film director Blessy is joining with Mohanlal. Their previous 2 projects (Thanmatra and Bhramaram) were very much acclaimed by the film industry and viewers. So all are expecting a very good movie from the team.

Mohanlal is currently busy with Rafi-Mecartin's 'China Town' with Mohanlal, Jayaram and Dileep in lead.

Mohanlal with Sathyan Anthikkadu

After 'Innathe Chintha Vishayam, the duo Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikkad is planning for another movie which will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of Aashirwad Cinemas.The other details about the cast and crew will be announced in a few days. The movie will start its shooting on March.

Vyshakh with a Lal movie

The director of 'Pokkiri Raja', Vyshakh is planning for a Mohanlal movie. The script work of the movie will be by Sibi K Thomas-Udhaykrishna, who had been with the director for Pokkiri Raja and Tomichan Mulakupadam is going to produce the movie.

'Casanova' to start from 27th Sept 2010

'Casanova', the Mohanlal movie which had been in the news from the beginning itself by making changes in leading artists, shooting schedules is now confirmed to kick off the shooting on 27th of this month at Dubai. Director Roshan Andrews has taken every essential steps to make it sure that no more shift in shooting schedules happens.

After the first schedule at Dubai, the team will fly to Malaysia and Bangkok for the next schedules.  The movie will also features Sameera Reddy and Lakshmi Rai.

Mohanlal in another double role

Mohanlal is all set to play another double role in his new movie "Talkies" directed by Shajoon Kariyal. After Uncle Bun, Udayon and Ravanaprabhu, in this film also he is playing the role of father and son.

The movie feature Mohanlal as a struggling theater owner. Mohanlal will appear as Raveendran Nair and also as his father, who actually constructed this talkie. S Suresh Babu will script this movie which will start its shoot by the end of next month.

Mohanlal with Rajiv Nath

After 'Pakal Nakshatrangal' Mohanlal once again join with director Rajiv Nath for his next movie 'Onnaam Sir'. The story of the movie will be based on a short story by Karoor in the title 'Pothychoru'. In this movie Mohanlal will appear as a school teacher. The shooting of this low budget film is expected to start by the second week of September 2010.

'Shikkaar' - Ready for this Onam

Mohanlal has already completed the shoot for "Shikkaar", a M Padmakumar movie, it is all set to hit the screen as on Onam-Ramzan release. The movie will be an emotional thriller. Now Shikkar is scheduled to release on the first weekend of September.

The movie tells the story of a lorry driver 'Balaraman' and his revenge. Expecting this will be a classic movie. Kalabhavan Mani also doing an important role in this movie along with Mohanlal.

Mohanlal completes 'Shikkar'

Mohanlal has completed the shooting of 'Shikkar' directed by M Padmakumar. The climax scene were shot at Guna caves in Kodai, a very dangerous and scary place. He also mentioned the place 'Devils Kitchen' at Kodai.


In Shikkar,  Mohanlal plays the role of a lorry driver, Balaraman. Kalabhavan Mani doing the supporting role of Mohanlal and other cast includes Jagathy, Suraj, Lalu Alex. Ananya of 'Nadodigal' fame plays Mohanlal’s daughter and Sneha does his wife’s role. Samuthirakani, Kollywood’s hot shot director plays the villain role.

'Shikkar' on September 9th

The upcoming Mohanlal movie Shikkar, directed by M Padmakumar will hit theaters on 9th of September. The movie will be a family and action thriller produced by Aashirwad Cinemas.

After 'Christian Brothers' its 'China Town'

Yes folks, Mohanlal is again teaming up for another multi-starrer 'China Town' by Rafi-Mecartin. China Town will feature Jayaram and Dileep with Mohanlal. This movie will be an action thriller unlike the director duos earlier movies.

Kavya Madhavan will be doing opposite to Dileep, the other two heroines are yet to be finalised. The movie will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, the movie will be shot at Goa, Pondicherry and Cochin. Mohanlal's distribution firm Max Lab will distribute this movie for the next Vishu.

While Joshiy's 'Christian Brothers' is planning to hit theaters on September.

'Oru Naal Varum' Releasing on July 9th

Yes folks, at last after the long wait, Mohanlal - Sreenivasan movie 'Oru naal Varum' is ready to hit theaters on July 9th. The date is confirmed and the distributors are planning to make a big release. If sources are to be believed, the movie is going to release in more than 100 centers.

The movies is directed by T K Rajeev Kumar, scripted by Sreenivasan and produced by Manian Pillai Raju. Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy is playing the female lead in this film.

Mohanlal Joins with 'Kandahar' Team

Mohanlal has started the shooting of Major Ravi's 'Kandahar'. The shooting of the movie is progressing in Koonar regiments at Ooty where Major Ravi is capturing Mohanlal taking classes to commandos.

The movie will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Ganesh Venkatraman, Bollywood star Sunil Shetty, Tamil actress Kaveri Jha and together with Lal, Anoop Menon, Sumalatha and KPAC Lalitha.

Big Year with Big Projects to Mohanlal and Ashirwad Productions

Antony Perumbavoor's 'Aashirwad Cinemas' will have a bunch of Mohanlal projects to produce and distribute. They will work in association with Mohanlal's Max Lab Release, to create so many films.

They will distribute the  following films that are already started shooting, M Padmakumar's 'Shikaar', Major Ravi's 'Kandahar' and Roshan Andrew's 'Casanova'.

After these projects, Aashirwad Cinemas will start Rafi-Mecartin's China Town. There are lots of other important projects are under discussion. Directors like Siddique, Ranji Panicker, Sathyan Anthikkadu, Shafi, Thampi Kannanthanam are getting ready for their projects with Mohanlal.

Mohanlal in a silent cinema

Mohanlal, who has done varieties of roles and cinemas now going to do a silent cinema. The movie will be directed by d maker Johan Mathai and Mohanlal will do the lead role. Cinematography by Ravi K Chandran background music Louis Banks. The other details about the cast and crew will be announced soon.
 

'Casanova 'to start by June

Its a good news for all Mohanlal fans that the Roshan Andrews film 'Casanova' which had been in news from 2008, is planned to start its shooting by the month of June.

The movie was in a big dilemma when the budget problem and other technical and casting issues came at the beginning stage. But now its clear that the team now decided to do the project and the movie will now be produced jointly by Impresario and Confident group.

This will be the biggest film from Mohanlal with many heroines including Lakshmi Rai, Sameera Reddy etc. Tamil actor Ganesh doing the second hero role in this film. The movie is scripted by Bobby-Sanjay team.
