'Grandmaster' bags clean 'U'

Mohanlal starrer Malayalam film Grandmaster was censored today 25th April in Trivandrum and bagged a clean 'U" certificate from the censor board. The movie is all set for a world wide release on May 3rd.

'Grandmaster' stars Mohanlal, Narain, Anoop Menon, Jagathy Sree Kumar, Priyamani, Roma and several other. This will be an entertaining movie from the team.

Surya Awards for Mohanlal and Kavya

Mohanlal and Kavya Madhavan bagged the Surya Awards 2012 for best actor and actress. The film 'Pranayam' got the best movie award and Renjith got the best director award for his movie 'Indian Rupee'. The award is the joint venture of Surya TV and Kerala Film Producers Association.

Anoop Menon and Ramya Nambeesan were selected as second best actor and actress. The popular awards for best film, best actor and actress went to Urumi', Prithviraj and Shwetha Menon respectively. Aashiq Abu is the popular director for 'Salt and Pepper'. The awards will be given away in a colourful function organised at Kochy on the 15th of April.

Mohanlal and Kavya Madhavan bagged the  Mathrubhumi - Kalyan Silks film awards for best actor and best actress. Blessy's movie 'Pranayam' selected as best movie and Ranjith as best director for his movie 'Indian Rupee'.

Mohanlal bagged the best actor for his performance in 'Pranayam' and Kavya for her performance in 'Gadhama' directed by Kamal.

Yes folks, this time its big... Our lalettan is all set to act in a movie directed the big director Shankar. This will be the first Malayalam movie of Shankar. This movie to be made by Aascar films Ravichandran will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu also. Yes everything is big here now.... time to smile....


Tamil version of the movie will feature Kamal Hassan in the lead and Telugu version will have Prabhas in the lead. Bollywood heart beat Katrina Kaif will be the heroine in all the versions.

Another big surprise is that action king Jackie Chan will do a role in these 3 films.

The most awaited and expensive movie of Malayalam film Industry 'Casanova' is all ready to hit theaters on Republic Day, January 26th. Starring Mohanlal with three heroines, Shriya Saran, Lakshmi Rai and Roma, will be a stylish romantic thriller. The script has been done by Boby - Sanjay team and directed by Roshan Andrews.

Arabiyum Ottakavaum P Madhavan Nairum - Movie Review

After a long year gap Priyan - Mohanlal combo came together for the mass entertainer Arabiyum Ottakavaum P Madhavan Nairum. If you want to enjoy your time then go for it. The team had well shaped the movie 'Arabiyum Ottakavaum P Madhavan Nairum'.

You will get what you expect from Priyan - Mohanlal combo. If you are looking for a serious emotional movie then you will find lots of negatives and get disappointed. But if you want to enjoy your time then you laugh for anything. Most of the comedies are situation based and you can't hear any double meaning vulgar comedies. Definitely a family entertainer.

Never try to compare with old Mohanlal - Priyan movies. The only negative(?) is the lack of a strong story (I don't this its a negative.. but this is only the thing others can say as a negative). But if you can laugh for 2.45 hours then whats the important in a STRONG story. The movie has a story with good pace.

The first 15-20 minutes you may get bore. But after the entry of Mukesh and Bhavana, you wont get a chance to get bored. Mohalal - Mukesh combo did well for this movie. You can watch Lalettan's facial expression comedies with Mukesh's verbal comedies.

Suraj also did well in this movie. All other actors have done their part well.

All in all worth for your money and time. As in my usual reviews here also I dont like to outline the story. You guys go and watch the movie and share your valuable comments. If you feel my review is utter blunder then please post it as your comment.
