UTV Productions to Mollywood

The big Bollywood production group UTV is all set to enter Mollywood with a Mohanlal flick. The movie will be directed and scripted by B Unnikrishanan, who had already made a big hit with Mohanlal through the movie 'Madambi'. The movie will feature 3 heroines of Malayalam.

Samudrakani with Mohanlal

After Shikkar, they became good friends and Mohanlal had appreciated Samudrakkani many times for his performance in Shikkar. Mohanlal also made his interest to act in Samudrakkani's movie.

Now its the time, Samudrakkani offered him a different role in his first Malayalam venture. Mohanlal is giving high priority to the shooting of this film and it will start from November. 

Mohanlal in 'Veeraputhran'

'Veeraputhran', new movie by P T kunjumuhammed, will cast Mohanlal as a history researcher. The movie will be told as the story narrated by freedom fighter  Abdulrahiman Shaib's wife Kunju Beevathu to the researcher. Young actor Naren will be doing the title role and Raima Sen as his wife Beevathu. Mohanlal will join the set in the month of September.

Mohanlal with Siddique

Yes, he is moving on the right track with right pace. It seems Mohanlal is going to be very selective in his upcoming projects. After a couple of multistarrer hits, he joined with Blessy, a veteran director who already have a great image in the film industry. Now Mohanlal is planning to join with another hit maker Siddique. The movie will start by the end of this year and will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of AAshirwad Cinemas.

Director Siddique is now busy with is Hindi film 'Bodyguard' with Salman Khan. will start the pre-production work after the release of his Hindi film. The team's last film was 'Vietnam Colony' which was a block buster. Lets hope another gigantic hot from the team and all the best for the project...

Mohanlal and Jayaraj Teaming up for 'Kunjali Marakkar'

The famous director Jayaraj is planning to direct Mohanlal for his latest project. The veteran director who had been in the film industry for the last 25 years, has not yet directed Mohanlal in any of his movie. But now he is planning to cast Mohanlal in his dream project 'Kunjali Marakkar', a historical movie. 

The movie will have Mohanlal donning the role of the central historical character.
