Suraj in "Arabeem Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum"

The latest buzz is that Suraj got a chance to act in Pridarshan's movie  "Arabeem Ottakavum Pinne Madhavan Nairum". This is the firs time Suraj joins with Priyan. To be shot entirely in UAE, this humorous flick will also feature Mohanlal, Mukesh, Bhavana, Lakshmi Rai, Innocent and Nedumudi Venu in the lead roles.

'Amma' - A family thriller from Major Ravi

Though their last film 'Kandahar' not did well in the box office, Major is getting ready for another film with Mohanlal, but not a military story but a family thriller, titled "Amma". The script of the film is by Major Ravi himself. In this film, Mohanlal will do the role of an elder brother who is forced to bear the brunt of all problems created by his younger brother. The shooting will start by the end of this year.

Mohanlal - Priyan film gets a title

The most awaited Priyan - Mohanlal film gets the title "അറബിയും, ഒട്ടകവും, പി.മാധവന്‍ നായരും ." (Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P Madhavan Nairum) Priyadarshan has already completed the screenplay and announced the title of the movie.

I know all of you including me, are excited to hear more about the story when you heard the title. This is what Priyan also expected when giving this title. As the title indicates this will be a hilarious comedy entertainer. Mukesh, Lakshmi Rai and Bhavana are also playing an n important roles in this movie.

This will be a July project and the shooting will commence from March 1st.

Mohanlal - Prithviraj - Padmakumar

After the huge success of 'Shikkar', M Padmakumar is planning his next film with Mohanlal and Prithviraj in the lead. The movie to be scripted by Suresh Babu will be an action packed movie. Prithviraj is doing a negative (partially) character in this film.

The pair was earlier supposed to come together for the movie by Lal Jose titled as 'Cousins'. But there is not that much discussions going on this project.

The year 2010 was not a good year for both Mohanlal and his fans. May be that is why he is very keen on his 2011 projects. In my previous posts I have mentioned about Lal's projects with Sathyan Anthikkad and Priyadarshan. Now its another biggie, that class film director Blessy is joining with Mohanlal. Their previous 2 projects (Thanmatra and Bhramaram) were very much acclaimed by the film industry and viewers. So all are expecting a very good movie from the team.

Mohanlal is currently busy with Rafi-Mecartin's 'China Town' with Mohanlal, Jayaram and Dileep in lead.

'Christian Brothers' postponed to March 2011

Mohanlal's multi-starrer Christian Brothers, directed by Joshiy has been postponed to March 10. First it was decided to release the movie on October 22 and was shifted to November 26 and then to January 26, 2011.

The action packed entertainer is another multi-starrer from Joshiy. The film has Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Sarath Kumar, and other lead actors in important roles.

But I don't know why the producer Subair has decided to release the movie on March, the season of examination and Cricket World cup. I expect another change in the releasing date soon from Subair.

Lal - Priyan Teaming up

Yes the evergreen combination Mohanlal and Priyadarshan is coming back with a Malayalam movie which is to be started from February. As usual this will be a comedy flick and will be shot at Abudhabi. The duo were not seen together in the last seven years in a Mollywood movie but  recently shot for their first Hindi movie together in the  title 'Tez'.

After 'Innathe Chintha Vishayam, the duo Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikkad is planning for another movie which will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of Aashirwad Cinemas.The other details about the cast and crew will be announced in a few days. The movie will start its shooting on March.

'China Town' getting ready for release before 'Christian Brothers'

Rafi-Mecartin's multistarrer 'China Town' is planing to hit theaters on another multistarrer 'Christian Brothers' directed by Joshiy. The 'China Town' team is planning to complete the film in a single schedule. The film features Mohanlal, Jayaram and Dileep in lead roles.

Mohanlal appear as Mathukutty, while Jayaram will be Savary and Dileep will become Benoy in the movie. Kavya Madhavan, Poonam Bawja and Deepa Shah are the heroines of this movie which will also have Captain Raju and Suraj Venjaramoodu in other important roles.

The movie will be a Vishu release.
