Finally the evergreen hit duo Mohanlal - Sreenivasan movie 'Oru Naal Varum' is ready to hit theaters on 7th May.

The movie is directed by T K Rajeev Kumar and scripted by Sreenivasam himself. Sameera Reddy is acting as Mohanlal's wife in this film. This is her debt in Malluwood.  Expect a real entertainer from the team...!!!!

'Kandahar' will start shooting from June 13th

Major Ravi, the military specialist movie maker is ready for his next 'mission' 'Kandahar'. The team is ready to start the shooting from June 13th.

The movie Kandahar is based on the original Kandahar hijack of the Air India flight. The important thing about this movie is Amithab Bachan is going to do a cameo role and this is his debut in Malluwood. Another bollywood actor Sunil Shetty also doing an important role in this film.

As his previous roles in 'Keerthi Chakra' and 'Kurukshetra', Mohanlal doing the role of Colonel Mahadevan, who is leading the commando operation.

'Bhasuram' - Mohanlal and Sangeeth Sivan

The ace director Sangeeth Sivan who had a successfull run in Malayalam film industry with his super hits like Yodha, Nirnayam, Vyooham is planning for a come back in Mollywood with his favorite star Mohanlal. In the past periods Malluwood were not witnessed any project from him in Malayalam but he was busy in Bollywood with his projects like Apna Sapna Money Money’ and 'Kya Kool Hai Hum'

'Bhasuram' the new movie with Mohanlal scripted by Sangeeth Sivan himself will have the cinematography done by his brother and cinematographer-director Santhosh Sivan.

Mohanlal not with Vishal Bharadwaj

Now the matter is clear that Mohanlal is not acting in the Hindi film "Saat Khoon Maaf" directed by Visha Bharadwaj. It was earlier decided that Mohanlal is playing a role in this film as one of the seven husbands of Priyanka Chopra's character.

But now Mohanlal told in an interview that he was very much impressed by the script of the movie and he had accepted the director's invitation to act in this film. But after that the director never called him back to sing up or for the date. So he gave his dates for other Malayalam films. This is what really happened in the case of "Saat Khoon Maaf".

Amithabh to work free with Mohanlal

Yes guys, its true. Big B decided to work with Mohanlal with free of cost. "Mohanlal, great exponent of his art and craft, one of the finest actors of the country, from Kerala and Malayalam cinema had come over to finalize dates and schedules for the film he is making directed by Capt Ravi," Amitabh posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.co.

"It's a small guest appearance and I had agreed. They had come over to officially sign me on and make payments etc...Payments? For a guest appearance of 3 days? With Mohanlal who has always had my greatest admiration? No way !! I don’t charge money for such acts. And told them so.

"I shall just gloat in the honour that I shall derive by working in a Malayalam film and that too with the exceptional Mohanlal."

'Alexander The Great' not for this Season

'Alexander The Great', the most awaited Mohanlal movie for this Vishu is not ready for release. The team were in a hurry to bring the movie in theater for this Vishu, but a song and couple of scenes are still pending to shoot. The revised date is not decided yet. So this Vishu, Mohanlal fans are celebrating with 'Janakan'. The movie is getting good mouth publicity among family audience.

Now the fans are looking to Mohanlal - Sreenivasan's project 'Oru Naal Varum', which is scheduled to release on May 1st week and Joshiy's multi-starrer "Christian Brothers".

Alexander The Great - Release Postponed

'Alexander The Great' from April 15th

The comedy entertainer of Mohanlal - Murali Nagavalli team's 'Alexander The Great' will hit theaters on April 15th.

In this film lalettan plays the role of a business man with extra ordinary IQ, Alexander Varma, who is half Hindu and half Christian. The story, dialogue and screenplay by debutant 'Balu' and produced by V.B.K Menon under the banner of Anugraha Movie Arts.

Siddique, Jagathy Sreekumar , Innocent ,Bala and others are also in this movie. Surely the movie will be a comedy and family entertainer.

Shikar - 'The Hunt'

'Janakan' Review

In this movie Mohanlal is playing Advocate Suryanarayanan, who comes to the rescue of a few innocent men convicted of a crime that they did not commit. Suresh Gopi is Vishwam, a man who has been convicted of murder and Mohan Lal is desperate to save him.

MohanLal and Suresh Gopi has given one of his best performance in this movie and direction by N R Sanjeev is like a gem adding more stars to the Janakan movie review.

Other than Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi, the film Janakan also has Biju Menon, Kaveri, Jyothirmayi and Harisree Ashokan in key roles.

Vishwam( Suresh Gopi) , Pazhani and Monai are friends involved in deadly crimes which set the police after them. The friends reach out to Surya Narayanan for help who is among one of the best lawyer in state. The lawyer, after listening them, warned that they will be hanged to death if found guilty. The story then takes an interesting twist and much more thrilling chapters from this point as this movie Janakan proceeds.

Mohanlal to start 'Shikar -The Hunt'

Mohanlal is planning to start the shooting of the movie "Shikar - The Hunt" from April 14th. The movie will be directed by M Padmakumar, will visualise a revenge story. Mohanlal is very much impressed with the story line of the film. Jagathy and Suraj is also playing in important roles along with Lakshmi Gopalaswami.

Mohanlal playing a lorry driver Balaraman and Ananya (Tamil movie 'Nadodigal' fame) as his daughter.The team is still in search for the heroine.

Janakan from Tomorrow

Finally he is coming, Adv. Soorya Narayanan, to save the 3 innocents from a murder case. 'Janakan', Mohanlal, Sureshgopi starrer film is all set to hit theaters on tomorrow Thursday 8th of April. The movie is directed by Sanjeev N R and scripted by S N Swamy. Maxlab Entertainments will distribute the film all over Kerala.
