Innathe Chintha Vishayam - Movie Preview
The most versatile super star of our times, Mohanlal always had his bag full of projects, but his recent repeated failures at the box office has made him think of none other than Sathyan Anthikkad to call for shaping up his Vishu film. Sathyan is passing through an invincible track record run, with eight super hits back to back and with all of his films after 2001 becoming the best run movies of the years. And so 'Innathe Chintha Vishayam', by Sathyan Anthikkad made with much cautiousness, looking forward for that long elusive hit for Mohanlal, becomes the most awaited movie for this Vishu.
The movie produced by Lal's Man Friday Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of Aashirwad Cinemas will see the teaming up of Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine yet again. The movie scripted by Sathyan himself will display as usual, the strengths of the director in harvesting the best from his crew, while handling subjects that are of undeniable interests for Keralites.
'It is easy to break relationships, but it is a tougher task to keep them going’ seems to be the message that the director is trying to put forward through the film. The protagonist of the movie Gopakumar, a garment exporter also believes much in this theory. He is presently having a problem with Adv Treesa, who is planning to throw out his garment stuff from the upstairs of her house. Gopakumar, on the other hand has got legal support in the matter, as he has paid rental advances for the occupancy to Teresa’s husband Dr Muraleedharan. Gopakumar was planning to keep the place as a go down and an office for his exporting firm. But the real problem was that Treesa and Muraleedharan were at the breaking point of their marriage and so neither of them will consider this issue, anything lighter than a big failure amidst their fierce showdowns.
Going along with the basic theme in the backdrop of increasing divorces in the state, 'Innathe Chintha Vishayam' covers the disturbances in the married life of three couples whom Gopakumar meet at different points of time. The film goes on to show how Gopakumar along with his assistant Emmanuel and Kamala tries to bring some happiness in the lives of three women who have split with their husbands over trivial matters, by sorting out their marital discords, which become more and more complicated as they try to tighten up loose ends.
Playing Gopamar with ease is Mohanlal, while Innocent is Emmanuel. Meera Jasmine, the heroine of the movie is Kamala who has just passed out from textile designing course and is assisting Gopakumar in his business Mukesh is Dr Muralidharan while Suganya plays Adv. Treesa. The film also features Asokhan, Vijayaraghavan, Mohini, Muthumani, Kripa, Mamukoya and baby Nivedhitha in important roles.
The songs of the movie by Ilayaraja - Gireesh Puthencherry team are already out and a couple of songs like 'Kasthoori Pottum' and ‘Kando Kando' are already in the charts.
Azhagappan cranks the camera once again for a Sathyan after the hit 'Rasathanthram' while Rajagopal handles the editing. Santhosh Raman is the art director while Saibabu is in charge of the costumes. The film which was shot at Kochy, Kambam and Theni will be distributed by Central pictures.
‘Innathe Chintha Vishayam' will make a grand release on April 11, for this Vishu.
