Mohanlal,Meera Jasmine and Sathyan Team again
The team Sathyaqn Anthikkadu, Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine will join together after the super mega hit 'Rasathanthram' in the new film. Meera will be playing the role of wife of the character of Mohanlal. This time Sathyan is trying to narrate the problems that the newly weds face in the new world. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner Aashirwaad Films. Planned to start by January, this Vishu release will have Mukesh, Vijayaraghavan, Mohini, Khusboo and Seetha apart from Sathyan regulars.

Christmas Releases
With only one super hit in ramzan 'Chocolate' and safe business to 'Nasraani’, the malayalam film industry is now looking for the next big season of the year - Christmas.
Mohanlal will have a release in 'Flash' - the film which will welcome back the director Sibi Malayil to Mollywood. The flick will have note book fame Parvathy in the female lead .This film is wrapped up as a psychological thriller, in the scripts of Bhasurachandran. The film will also mark the debut of Gopisundar, the popular rerecording artist, as the music director.
Mammootty will have 'Kathaparayumpol' a film directed by debutante Mohanan. In this satire scripted by Sreenivasan, Mammootty will appear as a filmy superstar Ashokraj, in a shorter role than usual which appear mostly in the later half of the flick. The film will be ably supported in the lead by Sreenivasn and Mukesh, who are also the producers of the film, in the banner of Lumiere films.
Prithviraj who is currently enjoying the success of a big hit like chocolate will have another entertainer in Raj Babu’s ‘Kangaru' all slated to hit the theatres on December 21. The film will also have Jayasuriya, Kavya Madhavan and Kaveri in important roles. The flick is distributed by the most successful distributors of the years - Lal creations.
The dark horse among the releases will be Dileep's ‘Romeo' produced and scripted by hit makers Rafi Mecartin and directed by Rajasenan. The film has a number of heroines like Samvrutha Sunil and Vimala. This slapstick comedy film is distributed by Marikkar films which has number of hits in 2007 like ‘Big B’, ‘Hello’ and ‘Nasraani’.
Apart from these films Dileep's 'Calcutta News', Bala's 'SMS' and Saiju's ‘Jubilee' may also make into theatres for this Christmas.

'Rock' N roll' on November 15th
Renjith's 'Rock N roll' will release in theatres from the 15th of this month. The film with Mohanlal and Lakshmi Rai in the lead is being publicized as a musical fun film. The songs of the film are already on the mini screens .Renjith, who had mostly bad times in the recent years with continuous flops, desperately is in need of a big hit to recapture his name as a crowd pulling scripter and director.The film is an out and out musical entertainer set in the backdrops of Music and re- recording studios of Chennai.
