Six heroines for Mohanlal

The name "College Kumaran" itself carries a bunch of attributes with it. Popularly, the person who is called by this name is the one who is stylish, macho and trendy guy who flirts with a number of girls at a time.

And keeping in with the image that the name reminds on Malaylalees, Mohanlal's latest film with the same title has six heroines playing prominent roles. Vimala Raman is in the lead character opposite Lal, while the film will also have Ramya Nambeeshan, Samvrutha Sunil and three new comers in equally important roles.

Thulasidas, who directs his second film with Lal in his career of 30 films, will start the shooting for the film by the first week of August. Suresh Poduval pens the characters for the film.

Mohanlal's latest movie Hello will hit the theatres by June 29th. The film is under post production stage, the film said to be a comedy entertainer. Nearly 5 movies getting ready to hit the theatres by the first week of july, so "Hello" will have a tough fight in box office.

Renjith signs Mohanlal(Updated)

Filmmaker Renjith has roped in Mohanlal for his next venture, Sound of Music. The musical, to be produced by N. Venugopal, will have music by Vidyasagar. The movie is expected to hit the floors next month and would be produced under the banner of P&V Associates.

Other details are awaited. Mohanlal, who is currently busy with the shooting of Alibhai, is not only playing different roles on the screen but is also playing a different role this time behind the screen. He is writing the story of the upcoming movie, Swapnamaalika to be produced by Karimbil Films.

Mohanlal-Ranjith Team Again

Director Renjith will commence his next movie titled Sound of Music with Mohanlal in the lead role. The film is produced by N Venugopal and has music by Vidyasagar. The shooting of the film will begin by the end of July.

“It is a music oriented films”, says Renjith.

Mohanlal on a new role

After winning accolades for his various portrayals, Mohanlal has now chosen to try his hands at penning the script for a Malayalam movie.
Mohanlal is writing the story for Swapnamaalika being produced by Karimbil Films.
The film, to be directed by KA Devaraj, will have Mohanlal doing the lead role as well, while the director himself does the screenplay.
Camera work is by Venugopal. Music is by Jayakishan.

Double Delight For Lal & His Fans

The pooja of the latest Mohanlal starrer Alibhai was held at Vismayas Max Studio at Thiruvananthapuram.

The function was the most colorful pooja of a film, ever to happen in Malluwood with around 3000 of his fans attending the function. Mohanlal and the director of the movie Shaji Kailas lit the lamp in the function.

The day coincides with the 48th birthday of the superstar which also has the birthday cakes distributed to the fans who assembled for the function.
