New Project- "Red Chillies"

Mohanlal's new project is "Red Chillies" by Shaji Kailas as director and the script work is by AK Sajan.This is a story of a nine radio jockies, ganag of nine ladies.Mohanlal acting as a net friend of these girls and character name is Omar.

The film is a murder mystery and is planing to release on Christmas. The shooting will start in a couple of months.

FilmFare Award - Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine

Mohanlal bags his 9th film fare award for the film "Paradesi" and Meera got the award for the film "Ore Kadal". This is his 27th year in Malayalam film industry. Hope the month July is becoming the luckiest month of Mohanlal as his film Madambi is already became super hit of the year.

Saikumar got best supporting actor and Lakshmi Gopalaswami as the best supporting actress.

Mohanlal's Next Year Projects

Mohanalal is planning to act in Shaji N Karun film and also Anwar Rasheed film. The film by Shaji N Karun is based on the story of the famous writer T Padmanabhans' "Kadal". The shooting will start from the mid of next year.

Another film is by famous director Anwar Rasheed. The story is by Sachi - Sethu(Choclolate story writers). The shooting will start on the opening of 2009.
The movie will produce by Manian Pilla Raju.
