Mohanlal with T A Shahid

The well known script write T A Shahid is planning to direct a film and he approached Mohanlal to do the lead role. Mohanlal liked the script and agreed to do the role. Shahid is very keen to select the artists for his directorial debut venture.

Now he is busy with script writing for other projects, he will start the work on his new project soon.

"Casanova" to start in February

There was rumors in the industry that the project "Casanova" is dropped by the 2nd producer also. But now things are cleared that the Shooting of the big budget movie Casanova will start rolling from February and will now be produced and distributed by Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirwad films in association with the Confident Group.

The Roshan Andrews fiilm Casanova will include Ganesh (Unnaipol Oruvan fame), which was earlier decided to do Araya,  with Mohanlal, and 3 heroines, Sameera Reddy, Lakshmi Rai and Roma.

Christian Brothers will start on Jan 11

Another multi-starrer film "Christian Brothers" directed by veteran Joshiy,  will start its shoot from Jan 11th. The movie was in trouble because the Producers’ Association had asked them to bring their budget down to three and a half crore.

The film casts Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, and Kavya Madhavan in the lead. The script work is by Udaya Krishna - Sibi K Thomas and produced by Subair and Anoop.

But there is another tragic news is that the big budget movie "Casanova" is dropped by the producer. The news is not declared officially.

Ujala Asianet Film Award 2010 to Mohanlal and Kavya

Ujala - Asianet film award 2010 announced today. Mohanlal and Kavya bagged the best actor and actress awards. Mohanlal got the best actor award for his brilliant performance in "Bhramaram" and "Ividam Swargamanu", and Best Actress to Kavya for "Banaras".

Life Time Achievement Award - P V Gangadaran (Producer)

The awards will handover to the respective actors, actresses and other technical persons on 16th Saturday at Changrashekharan Nair Stadium with colourful programs.
