Its confirmed that Tamil actor Surya signed to act in Major Ravi's "Kandahar". Surya will handle the role of a commando lead by Mohanlal, and it will be like Jeeva's Buddy Character in "Keerthi Chakra".
The movie is based on a plane highjack and commando operation. The other importanct fact is that Big B (Amithab Bachan)also playing an important role in this film .
