Idea - Mathrubhumi - Amrutha TV Awards to Mohanlal and Priyamani

The Idea - Mathrubhumi - Amrutha TV Awards 2008 announced yesterday and the award for best actor goes to Mohanlal for his performances in ‘Akashagopuram’, ‘Kurukshethra’ and ‘Pakalnakshathrangal’ and award for best actress goes to Priyamani. Mammooty got the "excellence in acting" award. Srinivasan will recieve the ‘Abhinaya prathibha’ award. Renjith got the best director award for his film "Thirakkatha". Siddique as best anti hero, Prithviraj - Youth icon, Jayasoorya and Roma best character actor and actress awards. Jayaram and Gopika have been selected as the most popular actor and actress respectively for the film "Verythe oru bharya".

The awards are decided by public voting, jury opinion and nominations.

Red Chillies - Good Initial Reports

As expected, the first super hit of the year comes from our Lalettan. The movie "Red Chillies" with stunning opening in more that 65 centers getting good initial pulling and moving towards the first super hit of the year. The great camera works, pace of the story and moreover the presence of the universal star Mohanlal makes the film Red Chillies a spicy one.

Even though the movie got some resemblance(?) with "Chinthamani Kolacase", it has moved far ahead than "Chinthamani..". The songs are good (only one song in this film).

There is lots to enjoy to fans with great punch dialogues. Now everything going with "Red Chillies". Its party time for Mohanlal and Team!!!!!

Red Chillies - Rocking with Mohanlal

After the first show of the film "Red Chillies", finished, all the fans are very much happy with the movie. Shaji Kailas and AK Sajan has done a good job here. The appearance and introduction scenes of Mohanlal is excellent in this film. The movie has great pace and has getting good responds from the viewers. Anyway lets wait one more day to get more clear review.

After long waiting it is confirmed that "Red Chillies" will release theaters on Valentines day. The movie is a suspense thriller directed by Shaji Kailas and scripted by AK Sajan.

'Thalaivan Irukkinran' to shoot on Feb 25

Mohanlal - Kamal Hassan team's 'Thalaivan Irukkinran' will start shooting on February 25th. The movie is a remake of super hit hindi film "A Wednesday" that featured Naseruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in lead roles. Kamal doing the character enacted by Nasraudheen shah and Mohanalal would do the role enacted by Anupam Kher.
